We, the Yoruba, living in Nigeria wanting to associate and enjoy the company of one another, seeking the best interest and overall well-being of one another, committed to and guide by the deep sense of justice, honesty and individually committed to excellence in all area of endeavour, convinced that we can build a non-political, none-religious and none-sectarian but a stronger cultural economic and social community of Yoruba in Nigeria, do pledge to promote the unity, progress and empowerment of the Yoruba in Nigeria and diaspora for the peaceful co-existence based on justice.
